Neighborhood Yard Sale
When: April 22, 2023
Where: Your Yard
Time: 8:00 AM Until 1:00 PM Rain or Shine
Information: The CHKD Thrift Store will pick up gently used items curbside after the sale for those who have requested a pickup. Contact Caroline Oliver at cesoceso@verizon.net by 4/16/23 to be on the pickup list. Any homeowner may host a sale and participate in the after-sale charity donation pickup.
Halloween Parade and Pizza Extravaganza
When: To be Announced for 2023
Time and Location: 2022 info: All trick or treaters meet from 5:30 to 5:50 PM in Simi Court. The fire truck parade starts at 6:00 PM sharp. A one-way parade route will loop the neighborhood. Once the parade passes by, lights can be turned off to show the end of the treats for the night. Contact Colleen Chattleton if you have any questions. Thanks to Colleen for designing a fun event with safety in mind. The funds normally used for pizza will be donated to provide a special dinner to local first responders at VBFD Company 8.
